Paste a link that points straight at a video file, preview it, and save it to your device — free, with no uploads and no sign-up.
One link per line. A direct link points at the video file itself, so it normally ends in .mp4, .webm, .mov, .m4v or .ogg (extra text after a ? is fine).
Those are web pages, not direct video files, so this tool cannot use them. Use the companion tool: Social Media Video Downloader.
Whether a browser may save a file directly is decided by the other website's server, not by this tool. Some hosts block other sites from fetching their files (a browser security rule called CORS). When that happens, the button changes to “Open video in new tab”: open it, then use the player's ⋮ menu → Download, or right-click the video → Save video as. That is not a fault in the tool — it is the host's setting.
This tool downloads the file a direct link points to. It cannot pull a video out of a web page that hides or streams its video in pieces — extracting those needs a server doing the fetching, and this page deliberately runs entirely in your browser.
MP4, WebM, MOV, M4V and OGG files — the formats browsers can preview and save directly.
File size can only be read when the hosting site gives the browser permission. If it does not, the video can still usually be previewed and saved — the size simply cannot be checked first.
No. The links you paste stay on this page, and downloads travel straight from the video's host to your device.
No — those links are pages, not video files. Please use the Social Media Video Downloader instead.
