Build clean, consistent campaign links for Google Analytics — add UTM tags to any URL, keep your naming tidy, and copy a ready-to-share tracked link in seconds.
Fill in the fields and your final tracked link builds itself live underneath. Fields marked * are required for useful tracking.
?ref=home) are kept — the UTM tags are merged in, not pasted on with a second “?”.october_launch. Analytics treats Facebook, facebook and FaceBook as three different sources, so one consistent style keeps your reports clean.Five tags, five jobs. Google Analytics reads them the moment someone lands on your page.

utm_campaign | Yes | The name of this promotion, launch or push. | october_tools_launch |
utm_term | Optional | The paid keyword that triggered the ad. | seo+tools |

Facebook, facebook and fb count as three separate sources in Analytics. Pick one style — lowercase with underscores — and stick to it. The toggle above does this for you.
Raw spaces in a link become ugly %20 strings and get typed wrong. Underscores (october_launch) stay readable and safe everywhere.
Calling the same launch launch, launch1 and october splits one campaign into three report rows you can never cleanly add up.
Made-up mediums like utm_medium=post2 create noise. Keep mediums to a small standard set: cpc, social, email, banner, referral.
UTM parameters are for traffic arriving from outside your site (social posts, emails, ads). If you add them to links between your own pages, Analytics starts a brand-new session at that click and throws away the visitor's real source — your own internal navigation ends up credited as the campaign, and your reporting turns to soup. Link between your pages with plain, clean URLs.
