How to get your key (step by step)
You only do this once. Google gives every website owner this API for free β the plugins just hide these steps from you.
Create a Google Cloud project and switch the API on. Go to the Google Cloud Console, create a new project (any name, e.g. "Click Hype Indexing"), then open APIs & Services β Library, search for "Web Search Indexing API" (the Indexing API) and click Enable.
Create a Service Account and download its JSON key. In the same project go to IAM & Admin β Service Accounts β Create service account (any name). Then open the account β Keys β Add key β Create new key β JSON. A .json file downloads β that is the file you load into this tool. Keep it private, like a password.
Copy the service account email. It looks like indexing@your-project.iam.gserviceaccount.com β you'll see it in the key file and on the service account page.
Make that email an OWNER in Search Console. Open Google Search Console for your site β Settings β Users and permissions β Add user, paste the service-account email and set the permission to Owner. This is the step everyone forgets β without it Google replies "permission denied" (error 403).
Come back here and submit. Load the JSON key above, paste your URLs, and click Submit. Done β Google has been asked to crawl those pages.
Honest notes, so you know exactly what this does: Google officially documents the Indexing API for job-posting and livestream pages, but it is widely used for all page types and it does request a crawl. Submitting asks Google to crawl β it does not guarantee the page will be indexed. Thin or duplicate content can still be left out; content quality decides in the end.
URL-prefix properties look like https://clickhype.co.uk/. Domain properties use the sc-domain:clickhype.co.uk format instead β type it exactly that way if your property is a domain property.
Bulk check (up to 20 URLs)
How to read the result: open the exact-URL search β if your page appears in the results, it is indexed. If Google shows nothing for the exact address, the page is not in the index yet: submit it in Part A above, or use "Request Indexing" inside the Search Console URL Inspection screen, then make sure the page itself is worth indexing (unique, useful content, linked from somewhere on your site).
