URL encode/decode, Unicode-safe Base64 encode/decode, and a UUID generator — three small developer essentials in one place. Free, instant, and fully private: everything runs in your browser.
Make text safe to put in a web address, or turn an encoded address back into readable text.
Unicode-safe Base64 — it handles emoji and Urdu/Arabic script text like سلام دنیا correctly, not just plain English.
Generate random version-4 UUIDs using your browser's secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) — the same kind of unique ID used for database records, files and sessions.
🔒 Privacy: your text is never uploaded or sent anywhere. All encoding, decoding and generating happens on your own device, in this page.
A URL can only safely contain a limited set of characters. When a value you put into a link contains spaces, &, ?, # or non-English letters, those characters must be converted into %XX codes — that's URL encoding (also called percent-encoding).
?q=urdu%20text.https://, ?, &, =) stays readable and only unsafe characters like spaces are encoded.%20, & = %26, ? = %3F, / = %2F.Base64 is a way of representing any data — text, images, files — using only 64 safe characters (A–Z, a–z, 0–9, +, / and = for padding). It's used to embed images inside HTML/CSS, send data in APIs and JSON, and carry text through systems that only accept plain ASCII. It makes data roughly 33% larger.
